Ruth Sklar is a graduate of Pratt Institute. Prior to founding Ruth Sklar Associates, she was an educator, designed employee communications' programs for several corporations, and served as an executive consultant for an international search firm.

An active participant in the professional community, Ruth is a member of the following organizations:

- NY Women's Agenda

- Women in Health Management, Inc.

- The National Association for Female Executives

- Financial Executive Institute

Ruth has been actively involved with the Metro Chapter of theWorld Presidents Organization in the area of education and women's forums. In addition, Ms. Sklar maintains a close relationship with executives in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries and has been instrumental in initiating and organizing major symposia on a variety of healthcare and financial issues.

She also serves as a consultant for companies in the areas product/market reviews and competitive analysis.
