Sabato Tony Stile, MD, attended St. Vincent College, in Latrobe, PA, where he majored in biology with a chemistry minor, and attended Stritch School of Medicine of Loyola University of Chicago, IL. After completing a rotating internship, with a psychiatric emphasis and residency in general psychiatry at Loyola University Medical Center, he entered the U.S. Navy. Dr. Stile was a faculty member at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Oakland, CA, for the USN General Psychiatric Residency Program between 1973 and 1975. Dr. Stile returned to Western Pennsylvania in 1975 and since then has been involved in addiction treatment programs at numerous facilities, including St. Francis Medical Center, Allegheny General Hospital, Comprehensive Substance Abuse Services, Gateway, and Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of UPMC Presbyterian. Dr. Stile served as a forensic consultant for the Allegheny County Criminal Court Division Behavior Clinic for 20 years and as an EAP consultant at Alcoa for 13 years. Currently, Dr. Stile is an assistant professor of clinical psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh and the medical director for UPMC Behavioral Health Associates. |
