Ms. Mackay joined JMR Financial in 2007. She is currently a Social Research Analyst responsible for examining various corporate social responsibility issues for the firm�s global portfolio, with a focus on the Americas, Asia, and Spain. She graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Spanish. She received her M.A. in International and Intercultural Communication from the University of Denver, where she focused on public relations and human rights.
From her experience working nearly 10 years in the non-profit sector where she held positions in communications, development, and program management Ms. Mackay brings a wealth of research and writing experience to JMR. She has worked with several international organizations including DU�s Graduate School of International Studies and Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning, as well as Global Greengrants Fund, a public foundation that makes grants to grassroots groups around the world working towards environmental and social justice. Additionally, Ms. Mackay has traveled extensively in Latin America, Europe, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia and has lived and worked in Spain and Nicaragua respectively. She is committed to social justice issues and helping to bring about change through her work. |
