Salil is a Partner at Bay. Most recently, Salil was co-founder and CEO of The Middleware Company, an online media company that ran popular sites such as TheServerSide.com. The company had peak revenues of $12M and was acquired by Precise Software (PRSE), now part of Symantec (SYMC); the media properties are now part of TechTarget.com.
Prior, Salil founded and ran a company focused on CORBA middleware, which was acquired by Visigenic, now part of Borland.
Salil held technical leadership positions at several technology companies including Sun Microsystems, taught summer courses at Stanford University, and has been an advisor to several internet community businesses.
