Sally J. Zimmerman is a partner in the firm's Rockford office. In addition to Winnebago County, the Rockford office serves Boone, Bureau, Carroll, DeKalb, Henry, Jo Daviess, LaSalle, Lee, Ogle, Rock Island, Stephenson, Whiteside and the counties of Southern Wisconsin.
Ms. Zimmerman has focused her practice on the defense of professional negligence cases. Ms. Zimmerman is involved in all aspects of the defense of medical malpractice cases from discovery through trial and if necessary, appeal.
Ms. Zimmerman has extensive trial experience and has tried to verdict numerous cases in state and federal court in complex litigation involving various medical specialties including anesthesiology, emergency medicine, internal medicine, nephrology, surgery, infectious disease, pediatrics, family practice, gastroenterology, orthopedics and ophthalmology practice.
Ms. Zimmerman is a registered nurse and has dealt with virtually all issues involved in defending health care practitioners from issues involving care and treatment to informed consent issues.
While a law student at Northern Illinois University, Ms. Zimmerman was named "Outstanding Woman on Campus".
