Sally Bloomfield is a Bricker & Eckler partner in the energy, public utilities and environmental law practice group. She practices public utility and administrative law, emphasizing state public utility regulatory proceedings involving representation of energy marketing companies, competitive telecommunications companies, and water utilities. She serves as regulatory counsel to Ohio's largest privately owned water utility and to local and long distance carriers.

Former Commissioner, Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, 1973-1977
Participates in Public Utilities Commission of Ohio cases involving electric issues, e.g., aggregation, and with some municipal electric issues
Represents applicants before the Ohio Power Siting Board
Serves as an arbitrator involving electric issues
Represents water and natural gas utilities before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio
Serves as regulatory counsel to several merchant power plant projects, and several natural gas marketers
Extensive experience in telecommunications industry-competitive local and long distance carriers and wireless carriers
Negotiates gas company rates for cities, rates lower than similar Commission approved rates
Negotiates settlements for business clients with utilities yielding resolution of ongoing difficulties as well as monetary compensation
