Sally Rasmussen joined the Knudsen Knudsen Law Firm in 2001. She received her J.D. degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1989. She had a general civil trial practice and appellate practice for 10 years prior to joining the Knudsen Law Firm.
Sally is a member of the Lincoln and Nebraska State Bar Associations. She is also admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. Sally was appointed by the Nebraska Supreme Court to the Committee on Inquiry for the Sixth Judicial District, and was elected by her colleagues to the Judicial Nominating Commission, also for the Sixth Judicial District. In 2002 she was appointed by the Nebraska Supreme Court to the Nebraska Ethics Advisory Committee. She is a member of the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys. Her areas of practice include general civil trial practice, including personal injury and medical malpractice. She also represents professionals in licensure and National Practitioner Data Bank matters and has an active appellate practice.
Sally was honored to be one of the speakers at the district judges summer meeting in June 2006. At the judges' request, she spoke on the developing jurisprudence in Nebraska regarding "contempt of court" proceedings.
