Samuel Hudson has a decade of experience representing clients in drafting and negotiating technology license agreements, including resolution of all patent, trade secret and copyright licensing issues for software, medical devices and biotechnology applications. His IP-related transactional work also includes preparing technology collaboration agreements, technical consulting agreements, and sponsored research agreements with universities and hospitals. He also advises on distribution, reseller and OEM agreements, and helps resolve technology contract disputes.
In related corporate transactions work, Samuel has advised on the formation of start-up companies, venture capital and private equity financings, acquisitions and general corporate law issues. He has also represented clients in numerous trademark prosecutions before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, and has advised on a range of copyright, trademark, data security and privacy issues.
