Samir Hakooz, Interim Chief Operating Officer Through July 2006 Samir is the President of Hakooz Enterprises, a Strategic Leadership and Global Business Integration company. Samir brings more than 30 years of experience in global business development, business turnaround, strategic planning, and technical sales serving the biotechnology, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, environmental and nuclear industries, and the U.S. government. Samir was formerly with ChemFirst as Vice President of sales and marketing for Callidus Technologies, Inc., and as President of Plasma Energy Corporation. Prior to that Samir was the VP of marketing, sales and business development for General Atomics Electronics Systems in San Diego. He was also the President and Founder of Digimax Corporation. Samir served as a board member of Quality Chemicals of ChemFirst acquired by Dupont in 2002. He is presently the Chairman and CEO of VTflex, Inc, and the interim COO of Beroe, Inc |
