Sam W. Bellamy, III has over 26 years of experience as a decisive, results oriented strategic leader with a successful track record in solving business problems, building solid business foundations, and architectural business turnaround. His professional experience is inclusive of successfully managing and restructuring product, manufacturing, operations, engineering, customer service, information technology, and product management.
Prior to his arrival at FreedomPay, he was the President and Lead Consultant with Global Executive Consultants leveraging his experiences on behalf of large quick service restaurant (QSR) organizations to consult and support definition, selection, and negotiation of national merchant services (credit and debit card acceptance), gift card programs, and contactless payments using RFID technologies. Additionally, Sam consulted in secure payment hardware OEMs in PCI PED certification designs.
As Vice President of Product and Information Technology, Sam served as the Chief Technology Officer of the North American division of Ingenico. His main charter was the focus of marketing requirements in the North American market as the driving force into the corporate offices of Ingenico.
He served as Chief Information Officer for Groupe Ingenico in Paris, France having global responsibility for information technology infrastructure, business information systems, and business processes across 90 countries and four continents. Successes during this period include supply chain improvements with a priority of improved customer service, cost reduction, and margin improvement. Sam has authored several White Papers and been a guest speaker in describing the 'Distributed Method' of supply chain fulfillment: forecasting, manufacturing, kitting, customization, and shipment.
He started his career in the cashless payment and loyalty solution industry in 1989 as owner and president of Bee Services, Inc, an information technology consulting company and later served as Vice President of Management Information Systems and Product Development with DiMark, Inc. in Orlando, Florida, where he led the design and development of a loyalty/check cashing card program servicing several supermarket chains across Florida: Jewel Osco, Goodings Supermarkets, and Woolley's/Hyde Park Markets. These successes provided the insight for the development of a "neighborhood" loyalty program supporting cross-retail consumer loyalty programs.
Sam received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University.
His wife, Leslie, is a custom designer in clothing and interior d�cor.
